Recommend toys for girls, some of the toys that my children absolutely loved and were my best buys.

I bought my little girl when she was eight the VTech digital camera in pink. She could have had a property digital camera but she particularly wanted this one as you can horns and cartoon aspects to any photo you take. You can also preview the photo as there is a good sized viewer on the back of the camera. It also is really solid and designed NOT to break should it get dropped. The photos that she takes are not great when put onto the pc but she wasn't interested in that. When she takes a photo with her friends they can see with clarity what they have taken, doctor it by adding cartoon characters, she wasn't really wishing to keep any photo she took forever. She was also able short periods of time for taking video footage. Mostly the VTech camera is aimed at younger children but if you are in doubt, then a child of seven and eight would have a lot of fun with the VTech camera too. Recommended.

If you are looking for a board game or a game that the whole family can enjoy, particularly girls then Twister was one of the best toys we bought when our girls were seven and under. They and their friends had a lot of fun, it was transportable to the beach, camping anywhere and very simple to use.If you are looking for a game for children aged 5-7 years then Twister comes recommended.

The butterfly garden toy, I bought this when my children were under five. You have to send off a coupon for the caterpillars and they arrived quickly. Very easy to set up and we put it in the kitchen so that the children could observe whenever they wanted any changes. The caterpillars grow very quickly, food is provided and the changes are fast enough for the children to remain interested. This was a brilliant gift if you wanted to buy a joint Christmas present for a number of children in a family. I bought this for two sisters last Christmas and their mum said it was a brilliant present.When the butterflies emerge from ther cocoons releasing them is so much fun and very special for all children. We kept the paper they emerged from as it was stained with the colour from their wings and it was brought into the classroom for their friends to see. Highly recommended for children under ten years of age. Remember if purchasing the butterfly garden toy set that you will not be able to order the caterpillars until the Spring, so ideal really for an easter gift or birthday present in March or April. The girls I bought it for were under three so it didn't matter as their mum just kept the gift back until the Spring and the children had such a lot of toys for Christmas that it was nice for them to have something that would appear a little later. Highly Recommended.
